Abstract
This article reports on two studies in which beverage consumption in adolescents was investigated. Different research methods were employed: a questionnaire was used to test the theory of planned behaviour, and diaries were used to measure self‐reported drinks intake. Differences and similarities in results as well as advantages and disadvantages of both methods are discussed.
