Top mind expert, Tony Buzan, is teaming up with e-learning company, Academee, to unleash the potential of education via the Net.

Buzan, who also works as a consultant to governments and companies around the world, aims to ensure that Academee's online courses have the content and functionality required to help the human mind learn and remember.

Both parties share the belief that best business practice is yet to include best learning practice, with too few companies aware of the negative effects bad training has on their bottom line.

According to Tony Buzan, e-learning will change the way managers view training.

He said: "The CEOs and business leaders I speak to understand the need to constantly evolve, and that also applies to work-based learning. If the company provides good ways to learn, the individuals will evolve into better employees".

"I've chosen to work with Academee because they have grasped this concept, and the design of its courses correlates with my teachings on how we learn best."

Research conducted by Academee showed that Britain's workforce feels intimidated by the traditional training methods employed by UK companies.

Academee provides bespoke learning solutions that are neither time nor location specific, allowing users to maximise their potential away from the more traditional classroom environment.

To Simon Hayward, CEO of Academee, the partnership with Tony Buzan is an endorsement of learning delivered online.

He said: "Tony's input will add considerable depth to our content, and that's good news for the user. Most importantly, here is an individual who has advised countless governments, multinational companies and organisations on best learning practice, and he has recognised that online solutions work with, and not against, people's instinctive learning inclinations".

One of the world's leading authorities on learning, with over 82 books published in more than 30 languages as well as a groundbreaking BBC series, Tony Buzan aims to make Academee's content, "Buzan brain friendly".

His content will be evident throughout Academee's management programmes and users will take part in online masterclasses with Buzan himself.
