‘Technicians Today and Tomorrow’

Abstract

Dr Young, who is Principal of Chance Technical College, Smethwick, has written a timely and informative book on one of the great unrecognised problems in the training field at the present time. The technician is essentially a product of the advanced industrial society: he does not emerge until industry has reached a certain degree of sophistication. In Britain we have been slow to recognise his importance.
