The college office
Abstract
The general office in most technical colleges has two failings. Firstly, and mainly, the number of staff is insufficient to deal with the existing work load, and is certainly far smaller than it should be if teachers are to have reasonable assistance. Secondly, the college office is inefficient to the extent that the service it now offers is below the standard it need be, often because it lacks effective control.
