Employee involvement in the brewery industry

Abstract

In this article the author describes how a large national brewery as part of an overall strategy of increasing employee involvement restructured the jobs and organisation of a Distribution Department which led, not only to improvements in customer service and productivity, but also in job satisfaction and industrial relations.
