Computer Work Measurement Systems
Abstract
Considers the frequently expressed objections to work measurement and the evolution of four main categories of data, determined by the methods applied to create the data. Examines the application of computers, the quality of data, and the present and future of data manipulation in work study programmes. Concludes that O&M staff will experience a change in role in the future, possibly becoming part of the design and planning team.
