Abstract
Describes an initiative by two universities in North Dakota, USA, to implement an administrative partnership which was committed to lifelong learning and the sharing and development of resources. The collaboration involved the networking of computers using student notebook computers. Discusses the reasons for choosing notebook computers and presents the results of the initiative since the formation of the partnership.
